2015

A dozen of my Garden Variety series paintings were on display throughout October at Farley's Coffee on Potrero hill. Remaining original paintings, reproductions, “wearables” and other merchandise remain in my studio, which is listed on ArtSpan's Open Studios map, Weekend #3, Sat., Oct. 31 & Sun., Nov. 1

2012-2014

From 2011 to 2013, I had the pleasure of teaching ballet at the S.F. Bayview Hunters Point YMCA. This led me back to my own dance practice (after a two decades-long break!), taking classes and rehearsing with Kathy Mata Ballet at Alonzo King's LINES San Francisco Dance Center. Kathy recommended Sally Miramon, who teaches basic beginning ballet there, to replace me at the Y.

* this workshop went so well that we might do it again sometime.  If you are interested in arranging a session and/or signing up, send me an email.

I also recommend Introduction to Encaustics classes offered with Hylla Evans at Fort Mason, San Francisco; register with San Francisco City College.  Eileen P. Goldenberg gives great encaustics and ceramics workshops in San Francisco, too. Wax Works West give a variety of workshops, and have materials for sale, including DVD tutorials.  If you are in another geographical area, the International Encaustic Artists website may list workshops closer to you.
