2024

August “Face It, Baby #2” was in the honorable mention category in the Teravarna 6th WATER International Juried Art Competition online group exhibition

Several earlier Celtic-themed paintings were in a group exhibition at the United Irish Cultural Center of San Francisco.

April – July 25 Bird #6 (inkjet and wax on board, framed) was on display at San Francisco Public Library’s Potrero branch.

May – July “Face It, Baby #2” was accepted to feature online in Existence: Birth, Life, Death – 2024 “a juried art exhibition…to explore birth, life, and death, the profound aspects of human existence.” – Exhibizone

April – June “Bees #3” was accepted to show in Animals of the Planet 2024, “a dual exhibition and publication to celebrate real and imaginary animals.” – Gallerium

Current work

Selected artworks have often been on display in my home studio during ArtSpan‘s San Francisco Open Studios (artist page), along with affordable gift items (greeting cards, magnets, small art prints, tee-shirts, baby clothes, etc.) printed with images from my original artworks. Please check back for updates.

Meanwhile, here are some of my most recent non-painting works: hand-made collage and mixed-media tiny houses, matchboxes, and one-of-a-kind earrings. In 2023 I took an online class with paper/book artist, Kit Davies, and then started making the following while I was recovering from my foot injury. May contain copies of family photographs (my paternal grandmother’s family album from the latter half of the 19th century to the first half of the next), old maps, decorative papers, documents, catalogs, drawings, found objects, glue, watercolors, glitter…
